Ingredients
  

  • 6 cup maida
  • 1.5 tsp   salt
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • warm water
For stuffing
  • 6 tbsp  oil
  • 15  cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 3 inch 3  ginger, grated
  • 6 chilli, 6  finely chopped
  • 6 tbsb spring onion, chopped
  • 1.5 oinin finely chopped
  • 6 cup cabbage, finely chopped
  • 3 carrot finely chopped
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 1.5 tsp pepper powder
  • 6 tbsp spring onion, chopped

Method
 

Instructions
  1. firstly, take 2 cups maida, ½ tsp salt, and 1 tbsp oil in a bowl. Mix well
  2. Start kneading the dough after adding the warm water
  3. Make sure the dough is soft and smooth by kneading it. Keep covered and set aside.
  4. Heat two teaspoons of oil to prepare the ingredients.
  5. Add 2 teaspoons of spring onion, 5 garlic, cloves, 1 inch of ginger, and 2 chilies. Make sure to sauté well.
  6. Also, add ½ onion and sauté slightly
  7. In addition, add 1 carrot, 2 cups of cabbage, ½ teaspoon salt, and ½ teaspoon pepper powder.
  8. Stir fry till the vegetables making sure the vegetables are cooked.
  9. Stir in 2 tablespoons of spring onion. The veggie momos filling is ready; set it aside.
  10. Knead the dough again and pinch a ball-sized dough.
  11. Roll and flatten as thin as possible. Cut into a round shape
  12. Now place a tbsp of stuffing in the centre.
  13. Start pleating the edges slowly and gather everything.
  14. Press in the middle and seal the momos, forming a bundle.
  15. Heat a steamer and arrange the momos in the tray without touching each other.
  16. Furthermore, steam momos for 10-12 minutes or till a shiny sheen appears over them.

Notes

  • First, if you don't knead the dough thoroughly, the momos will be tough.
  • Additionally, load the momos with vegetables of your choosing.
  • Additionally, right before serving, steam the momos. Momos won't taste very well if they're chilled.
  • Lastly, the Veg Momos Recipe is much better when made with a hot sauce and extra filling.
